Good Advice

Our Ben Stein offers the Donald some very good advice this morning. I hope he takes it. Though the Donald’s history with good advice is not encouraging.

The Donald is smart. But he’s not smart in the same lawyerly, prosecutorial, set-the-trap-and-spring-it way Mueller and his merry band are. He would be in WAAAY over his head. This is not the Donald’s forum. He can’t manipulate this bunch of scorpions. Mueller et al. would enjoy the mother of all home field advantages in this match-up. It should never happen.

Donald Trump has absolutely nothing to gain by answering the questions of a man who was appointed, and who hired the Hillary Clinton Fan Club to assist him, to investigate a crime — collusion with Russians — which isn’t even a crime. But he has plenty to lose. By agreeing to answer the questions under oath of the man gunning for him, he risks adding perjury to the list of charges and specifications Mueller and Associates are surely ginning up.
