George Santos Guilty, Biden Family Not?

If New York Rep. George Santos is not guilty of the charges brought against him by the Justice Department, he at least seems guilty of something.

Given the involvement of the Justice Department in the Russia collusion hoax and its double standard on the classified documents held by Joe Biden and Donald Trump, among other behaviors befitting interested partisans rather than blind justice, the timing of the Santos court date — coming as it did just when scandalous proof of Biden corruption dropped — necessarily raises an eyebrow.

The disturbing involvement in politics by the Justice Department erases the benefit of the doubt. Coincidences do happen. Not everything occurs by grand design. Cui bono logic is for people devoid of logic.

That said, the Justice Department putting its fingers on the scales too many times to count relieves one of the obligation of assuming its employees generally act in good faith.
