Silicon Valley, and the rest of Northern California, is hardly Republican territory. But Florida U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Marco Rubio has made some serious inroads there, at least as this is measured by campaign contributions.
Fortune magazine reports that Rubio has collected more than $3 million in campaign cash from the cyber-dudes and dudas in the high-tech valley, including from Facebook founder and tee-shirt model Mark Zuckerberg. This is nearly six times as much as Jeb!, the runner-up, has collected, and more than 12 times as much as Mz Hillary has.
I know, I know. It’s counter-intuitive. But sometimes man bites dog.
