Quin, you can make a creative argument for a lot of different scenarios, but I just don’t think this one is very realistic. It reminds me of when I used to listen to sports radio in New York in the 1990s, and you’d always get these callers that would concoct the most wild trade scenarios, that somehow always involved the Knicks giving up Greg Anthony and Anthony Mason and getting Michael Jordan and/or Karl Malone in return.

Of course, anything is theoretically possible in politics, and I give you tremendous credit for anticipating Huckabee’s rise, but some scenarios are more plausible than others, and I just don’t see Thompson-Romney happening within the next few days.
