Brian Williams is absolutely out for blood with “gotcha” questions. John Harris is obsessed with Romney and Perry. Romney and Perry. Petty and Romney. Romney and Perry. It’s obscene.

Cain, Santorum and Gingrich are giving excellent, thoughtful, knowledgeable, clear answers — when they get a chance.  But they get very few chances. And heck, I’ve made clear that Gingrich has entirely turned me off as a candidate long ago. But the man was a historically significant Speaker of the House. He deserves more respect, and time, than he is getting. Rick Santorum was the third ranking Republican in the Senate and authored several of the more significant pieces of legislation, from economics to foreign affairs to social issues, that actually passed in the decade and a half he served in office. He deserves far more time. And so on.

This is horrible.
