Wolf Protects Panther Case
by

As Fox News has been reporting all day, tomorrow could absolutely blow the lid off the New Black Panther voter intimidation case, which I trust our readers are somewhat familiar with. Chris Coates is the former ACLU attorney and highly decorated civil rights lawyer, a career veteran at the Department of Justice, who now is putting his job on the line to testify about the Panther case despite  an (illegal) order from DoJ for him not to testify. Coates is an honest man. He will be testifying under oath. This is a big deal.

U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf took the bull by the horns. See this:… oops, I can’t figure out the technology to reproduce the whole letter here. Oh,well…. Wolf has written AG Eric Holder to warn him NOT to interfere with Coates’ testimony. “You should be aware that federal offcials who deny or interfere with employees’ rights to furnish infomration to Congress ar not entitled to have their salaries paid by the taxpayers. As ranking member on the [subcommittee with jurisdiction of DoJ funding], I assure you that I take this statute very seriously and will do everythng in my power to enforce it should any negative actions be taken against Mr. Coates….”

This is getting very interesting!
