Okay, so Aaron says that I’m underestimating Kim Kardashian by insisting that she still thinks Obama’s on the ballot. That might be true.

After all, Kim Kardashian has maintained an unwavering love for the President even in the face of his very public feud with her husband, Kanye West, and even after the President publicly blew her off at a fundraiser in May, an encounter that left her “let down and disappointed.” It was even reported that the Obama 2012 campaign flat out refused Kim’s efforts to campaign on the President’s behalf, even though he openly embraced other buxom celebrities, like Katy Perry. So while I’m still not ready to admit that Kim is angling for an impact on the midterm elections, I’ll at least speculate that she’s committed to Obama’s agenda, even if he’d rather she not be.

That said, Aaron may be wrong on one count: that Kim Kardashian isn’t on the ballot. At least, she’s not on the ballot yet. In a move that will no doubt please every reader of this blog, Kim has speculated that she will follow in Clay Aiken’s footsteps and run for public office, once she’s done with reality television. Or, of course, in the even that running for office polls well as the subject of a reality television show.
