This new ad is absolutely powerful stuff. It comes courtesy of the new-generation Citizens for the Republic (the same name used by Ronald Reagan’s PAC in the 1970s), The board of Citizens for the Republic includes longtime Reaganites Ed Meese, Peter Hannaford, Dan Oliver, Mari Massing Will, Craig Shirley, Diana Banister and William Pascoe.
The ad reads in part:
“There’s mourning in America. Today, 15 million men and women won’t have the opportunity to go to work.
Businesses shuttered …
“Our government is now taking over the choices we once made in life. There’s mourning in America.
“Under the leadership of President Obama, our country is fading, and weaker, and worse off. His policies
were a grand experiment – policies that failed.
“This November let’s choose a smaller, more caring government … one that remembers us.”
Uh…. wow. Indeed.
