Hamas Kills Israeli Police Officer, Injures 13 in 2nd Light Rail Attack in Jerusalem

For the second time in less than two weeks there has been a vehicular attack at a light rail station in Jerusalem. Today’s attack killed an Israeli police officer and injured 13 others. The driver, who was a Hamas member, then got out of his vehicle with a metal bar and continued to attack civilians until he shot and killed by police. Hamas has praised the attack and said they will continue

The first such attack took place on October 22nd when a vehicle driven by yet another Hamas member claimed the life of an American infant girl and an Ecuadorean woman while injuring five others.

Israeli authorities have responded by erecting concrete barriers to prevent future attackss.

Last I checked, Hamas and Fatah are partners in a Palestinian unity government. A unity government which the Obama Administration recognizes. Since Hamas is calling for more attacks and Fatah (re: Mahmoud Abbas) is basically looking the other way then surely these are grounds for the Obama Administration to withdraw recognition for this Fatah/Hamas alliance.

Nah. The Obama Administration is far too interested in condemning Israel for building apartments.
