Update from the Coleman Camp

The Norm Coleman team just held a conference call in which the campaign's lawyers, Fritz Knaak and Tony Trimble, discussed the latest developments in the ongoing recount debacle in Minnestota.

This morning, the Coleman and Franken campaigns had a testy meeting over the issue of counting rejected absentee ballots, with the Coleman campaign arguing that Franken is pushing for ballots in counties most favorable to its cause be counted.

"We are stunned by the Franken campaign's hypocrisy about counting every vote," Knaak said on the call. "They don't want to count every vote. They want to count every Franken vote."

Specifically, Knaak noted that several affidavits that Franken submitted in Dakota and Ramsey counties to make the case to count certain absentee ballots turned out to be fake.

The Star Tribune has estimated that Franken is now up by 46 votes, but the Coleman campaign said they believe they are ahead. Also, if their court challenge to eliminate double-counting of duplicate ballots succeeds, they said they expect a net gain of over 100 votes.

Either way, it's increasingly looking like a race that won't be resolved for weeks, at the earliest.

Let's be perfectly clear about something...Al Franken is a despicable human being, and he is a Democrat, which renders that redundant. He will do anything to win, and right vs. wrong has no place in his vernacular. Franken wasn't even funny when he tried to be funny.......the man deserves all bad things he will eventually have come his way.

This points up the fact that the counting should have an end point decided by a law passed by a legislature. The Dem-agogues have convinced a lot of uninformed people that the 2000 election was stolen from them, (a lie), but this exemplifies why you need a limit. The Franken campaign has managed to count until they got the votes they needed. The counting should have stopped after the recount. If Franken was then the winner fair enough. This is typical of the Dems. They cant take a loss. Disgraceful bunch.

I think some important facts were avoided here:
1. - Franken's camps said - "count then all" and Coleman's camp said - "lets only count the ones that I like".

2. Franken IS in the lead after the recount. If none are counted, Franken wins.

Isn't the guy who helped the Dems steal the Washington State Governor's office the same guy working for Franken now?

Hahaha. What a lie. Franken wants to count all of the votes. Because we live in a democracy. Why print quotes that are lies without some fact checking? Because this aint a news site.
