The White House’s White Powder Has Turned Black

I may very well be the only person in the world who was not at all surprised by the discovery of cocaine in the White House. To be honest, I would have found it much stranger had the complete works of St. Thomas Aquinas turned up. What I do find disturbing is not so much the discovery but that we have come to know about it, taking into consideration the Biden family’s ability to keep us in the dark when it comes to the dark side of their lives. I can imagine Biden with his advisers trying to come up with an answer that would convince no one: “What if we say that this is completely normal, that after all, that’s why it’s called the White House?” And the adviser of the month: “Brilliant, Mr. President, we’ll run with that.”

They tried something similar with the news leak to Politico: “White House cocaine culprit unlikely to be found: Law enforcement official.”

“Even if there were surveillance cameras, unless you were waving it around, it may not have been caught,” the anonymous source adds to the magazine. “It’s a bit of a thoroughfare. People walk by there all the time.”

The article is great because now anti-Americans from all over the world know that anyone can stroll through the White House, walk in, walk out, take a selfie, do a few lines of coke, smoke some crack, drink alcohol, pick up a female intern in the oval office, do a Clinton, and throw up behind the president’s chair. Who could imagine? But it sounds like fun. You ought to know that on the wall in my office there hang two large posters: John Wayne and … John Belushi!

America used to be a serious country and a reliable partner. America is full of guys who do their jobs and are a credit to their nation. They don’t deserve a zombie president, wrapped in controversy and corruption that go unaddressed, with cocaine found a few steps from his own office and no convincing explanation to give. And what is worse is that his own officials say it is actually very difficult to know who it could have been. If we are to believe that, it follows that it would be harder to enter any U.S. embassy with a lollipop than it would be to walk into the White House carrying half a kilo of anthrax.

To save his own ass, Biden has stooped to insinuating in a leak that the White House has security issues, which is just what every terrorist in the world wanted to hear. I wouldn’t be surprised if Osama bin Laden came back from hell to try again, because the level of inaction and ineffectiveness, besides being comical, seems like an invitation to attack.

Bad leaders do not anticipate problems. The Democrats are too calm with the silence of jihadism. It makes sense. They are not stabbing babies or burning churches day after day there like they do in Europe. But after 9/11, it is grossly reckless to think that security is no longer important. The prime jihadist target is the United States, and the only reason they are trying to decapitate us Europeans first is because we are closer — because we are idiots and have a border policy that looks more like a surprise birthday party for an Islamic state lone wolf. Thank you, Macron, thank you, Merkel, thank you, Guterres, thank you, Sánchez.

All things considered, to be fair, for a Biden to have cocaine turn up nearby is not something that should surprise us. If the Democratic Party were not the complacent dumping ground it is, someone would have spoken up long ago to say three or four things. For example: that we have a president who lives in the Great Beyond; that we don’t know what business Hunter has with China, let alone with the dealer on the corner; that America used to be an economic and military power and today is a joke, but a very bad joke; that the state of the economy cannot be attributed entirely to the Ukraine war; that the identitarian Left has gone completely insane and is light-years away from the views on the street.

Americans are learning something with Joe Biden: When everything is a lie, it’s not even worth getting indignant. Anything goes. Even if someone leaks to the complicit press that it is impossible to control what goes on inside probably the most guarded and threatened building in the world. Why not? When there are people who believe that Biden is still in his right mind, everything — and when I say everything, I mean everything — is possible.
