This “database error” recorded robocalls on behalf of the American National Super PACincluding one in which he implored voters in Minnesota and Vermont, “Don’t vote for a Cuban. Vote for Donald Trump.”
For its part, the California Secretary of State indicates it is too late to remove Johnson’s name from the Trump delegation.
It’s just as well. Donald Trump ought to be judged by the company he keeps. Frankly, Trump and the likes of William Johnson deserve each other.
