As we face the prospect of Stimulus III — despite the unspent stash of borrowed cash still sitting there, which just might find its way to a spasm of projects in the run-up to the fall elections — I seem to have mislaid an enormous horde of liberal economic sages. You will recognize them by their insistence that ‘go shopping’ is an absurd response to a tentative economy.
Paul Krugman is not one of them. As is transparently obvious, Barack Obama doesn’t think that.
That is, Barack Obama doesn’t believe this anymore. Just saying.
