With nearly three quarters of the vote in, Mitt Romney has been declared the winner of the Michigan Primary with 41% of the vote. Rick Santorum came in a close second with 37%.
I can’t help but think that if not for Santorum’s lackluster debate performance in Arizona last week that he might have prevailed tonight.
As Simon & Garfunkel sang, “Michigan seems like a dream to me now.” Well, Santorum need not spend four days hitch hiking to Saginaw. He has a week to look for America or at the very least ten of its states.
