Reid and the Kochs: Take Twenty-Three

Harry Reid really needs to go to rehab for his Koch addiction.

His latest Koch-bashing tirade erupted yesterday, as Reid claimed Republicans should wear suit jackets plastered with Koch insignia:

“NASCAR fans can easily find their favorite drivers by simply looking at the cars as they fly by, because there are corporate emblems on the hood of the car … for our clothing here in the Senate, we don’t bear commercials logos. Many Republicans might as well wear Koch insignias,” Reid said Monday. “While they don’t wear Koch Industries’ ties and jackets, they display their sponsors proudly through their actions here in the United States Senate.”

His Twitter account posted a picture showing off his fashion design skills:

Reid has accused Republicans of having a “Koch addiction,” but his obsession with inanely inserting the Koch name into discussions about everything from Obamacare to Ukraine has grown both tiresome and ridiculous.

As Charles Koch pointed out, they employ some 60,000 people. They give money to countless groups and charities. Meanwhile Reid seems to enjoy immaturely sitting with his index finger extended at the Kochs’ faces and whispering, “I’m not touching you. I’m not touching you.”

He recently bragged, “I think I must be getting under their skin.”

Who knows why Reid is so infatuated with the Kochs’ every move, but he doesn’t appear to be running out of steam. He added, “[A]s long as the Koch brothers continue to spend hundreds of millions of dollars buying elections, I will continue to do all I can to expose their intentions.”

Despite this, Reid’s endless diatribes won’t change the facts: The Koch brothers do a lot of good for a lot of people.

And while we’re at it, can I order one women’s small Koch-bedazzled blazer?
