If John Miller Walks and Talks Like a Trump, He’s a Trump

Forgive me if I don’t believe Donald Trump when he says that wasn’t his voice on that 1991 audio interview with People Magazine. If “John Miller” walks like a Trump and talks like a Trump then he’s a Trump.

It’s true that this interview from 25 years does not involve matters of state, it nevertheless demonstrates the level of Trump’s narcissism. It isn’t enough for Trump to tell people how great he is, he poses as imaginary employees to tell people how great Donald Trump is. I mean President Obama says he’d be a better political director than his political director, but Obama doesn’t actually appoint himself his own political director under an assumed identity. Obama reserves his composite characters for his autobiographies.

Let’s put it another way, when the People interviewer asks “Miller” about his professional background he will only say that he “worked for a couple of firms” before quickly changing the subject. Trump obviously didn’t put too much thought in putting together a backstory for “John Miller”. And why would he? As usual, whether he’s Donald Trump, John Miller or John Barron, it’s always about Donald Trump.
