The House of Representatives this afternoon voted down an attempt by Republicans to repeal the ObamaCare mandate that forces individuals to purchase government-approved insurance policies. It failed by a 230 to 187 margin.
Rep. Dave Camp introduced the repeal measure as part of a motion to recommit on a small business bill. It attracted the support 21 Democrats, while Joseph Cao was the lone Republican to vote against the measure. Fifteen representatives did not vote. Full roll call is available here.
