Giuliani: ‘Massive Fraud’

“What I’m describing to you is a massive fraud.”

So said President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani at a Washington press conference on Thursday.

Accompanied by fellow Trump lawyers Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Victoria Toensing, and Joe diGenova, Giuliani laid out a detailed view of the case that the group will be making: the 2020 presidential election, they claim, has been targeted by foreign interference, high-tech theft, and the usual domestic political shenanigans of Democratic political machines in places like Philadelphia.

Among other things, the group said the following:

Republican observers were kept from observing vote counting in Philadelphia. Note: Yes, there were Republicans in the room. But as one televised image after another made clear, the observers were kept at a distance that finally came to six feet, standing behind bike racks, with no conceivable way of an up-close, at-the-same-table observation of the ballots. In a state where the president’s almost-800,000-vote lead somehow vanished overnight, this is a serious obstruction, they argue.

Sidney Powell said that “President Trump won by a landslide. We are going to prove it.” Over at Newsmax Powell sat for a talk with Newsmax TV’s Greg Kelly, and it was reported this way:

“The math just doesn’t add up for anything and we know Dominion has a long history of rigging elections, because that’s what it was created to do to begin with,” Powell told Tuesday’s “Greg Kelly Reports,” noting even the “founder of the company admits he can change a million votes, no problem at all.”

Powell told host Greg Kelly the team has an affidavit of a former high-ranking Venezuelan military officer who now lives in America, saying he saw the rigging of Venezuelan elections for Hugo Chavez.

“So don’t tell me there’s no evidence of fraud,” she continued. “We’ve got increasingly mounting evidence of significant fraud across multiple states that casts into question the validity of elections in every swing state.”

It is not just limited to Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia either, she said, adding “it went beyond that, too.”

Not to be forgotten, here is this headline from the Washington Examiner about a December 2019 letter on Dominion and the potential for vote switching. A letter from — yes indeed — Democrats:

Democratic senators warned of potential ‘vote switching’ by Dominion voting machines prior to 2020 election

The story said:

Four congressional Democrats sent a letter to the owners of Dominion Voting Systems and cited several problems that “threaten the integrity of our elections,” including “vote switching.”

In a December 2019 letter to Dominion Voting Systems, which has been mired in controversy after a human error involving its machines in Antrim County, Michigan, resulted in incorrect counts, Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, and Amy Klobuchar and congressman Mark Pocan warned about reports of machines “switching votes,” “undisclosed vulnerabilities,” and “improbable” results that “threaten the integrity of our elections.”

“In 2018 alone, ‘voters in South Carolina [were] reporting machines that switched their votes after they’d inputted them, scanners [were] rejecting paper ballots in Missouri, and busted machines [were] causing long lines in Indiana,’ ” the letter reads. In addition, researchers recently uncovered previously undisclosed vulnerabilities in “nearly three dozen backend election systems in 10 states.” And, just this year, after the Democratic candidate’s electronic tally showed he received 164 votes out of 55,000 cast in a Pennsylvania state judicial election in 2019, the county’s Republican chairwoman said, “nothing went right on Election Day. Everything went wrong. That’s a problem.”

The letter continued: “These problems threaten the integrity of our elections and demonstrate the importance of election systems that are strong, durable, and not vulnerable to attack.”

Got that? There are “Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, and Amy Klobuchar and congressman Mark Pocan” warning of exactly what Trump lawyer Sidney Powell is now saying has, in fact, happened. The silence from these people on the role of Dominion now is, shall we say, deafening. Imagine that.

The Trump lawyers have a huge task in front of them. There needs to be more evidence, which they say they have. But to say that they did not present evidence at this press conference Thursday as various liberal media outlets are huffing is flatly untrue.

Stay tuned.

The integrity of the American election system is at stake.
