Recent College Grads and the Academic Industrial Complex Rewarded Again

by

We’ve learned through various news outlets that President Clouseau and the Democrats plan to once again pause federal student loan repayments, thereby upending yet another age-old sequence. For centuries the sequence in question went as follows:

1.    Borrow the money.

2.    Use the money.

3.    Pay the money back.

For college students who borrowed money through the federals to attend college, step three has once again been deferred (the fourth time since March 2020), this time until August 31. Does anyone paying attention doubt that Clouseau and the Democrats, finding themselves third and very long before the November elections, will punt again as August approaches?

One is justified in wondering whether this particular hammer will ever fall on anyone save those who (1) didn’t borrow the money, (2) didn’t use the money, and (3) can see no measurable benefit to them from the fact that Buffy and Skylar, after idling for years at Whatsamatta State U., now sport degrees in vegetarian studies.

Geez, you don’t suppose this incredible and unjustified largesse could have anything to do with the fact that college students, recent grads, college professors, and administrators vote overwhelmingly Democrat?

Naaah.
