Really, there are moments in time when those on the left are so dishonest that they leave Americans wishing for a return to the Good Old Days of just plain, everyday hypocrisy.
They would crucify Brett M. Kavanaugh for a rape he never committed alleged by a lying woman he never met on a date she cannot remember in a location she cannot describe. But they will not believe outright hard evidence that Hamas-ISIS Arab terrorists raped Israeli Jewish women despite photographs, blood, and even bodycams worn by the rapists.

It is that quality of deceit that defines the world of lies now dominating a whole segment of America. University presidents preach free speech, even to the point of legitimizing calling for the mass murder and eradication of the Jewish people — not just some Jews but The Jewish People — yet these First Amendment “purists” will publicly destroy a professor who uses a Chinese word that happens to sound like a word that Blacks use all the time, as Blacks jam-pack the lyrics of so much of their hip-hop and rap with that six-letter word forbidden to be spoken, written, or thought by those of White privilege.
It is Little Snot Greta Thunberg, the “climate change” movement’s answer to Shirley Temple, standing at a United Nations platform to lecture the world on the steps she knows, as an immature brat, must be taken to save lives and prevent needless deaths — even as she attends and even leads public demonstrations supporting Hamas terrorism and mass murder of Jews. Wearing a keffiyeh, she chants, “There can be no climate justice without international solidarity.” Finally, the Marxist roots of the movement spill out from a Swedish child too filled with hate for Jews to realize what she is revealing.
So, Al Gore proclaimed that the “science is settled” on “global warming.” Then, as the science changed, the term “global warming” was replaced by “climate change.” And now that Swedish Snot has moved the dial further from “climate change” to “climate justice.” Thus, even as Hamas pollutes the air, destroys the Gaza water supply, drops missiles and rockets and years of incendiary balloons that destroy farms and grass and trees, they are on the right side of Greta Thunberg, in contrast to Israel, a world leader on climate-protecting technologies. Why? Because Thunberg no longer is about “climate change” but is about “climate justice.” And Hamas, a prototypical purveyor of mass injustice, is Thunberg’s symbol of “climate justice.”
These things transcend hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is nice and sweet by comparison. Hypocrisy is Al Gore and John Kerry lecturing poor Americans that they use too much energy and are destroying the planet with their gas stoves, but then interrupting their lectures to grab their private jets to fly off across the globe to accept an award for “climate leadership.” Hypocrisy is Hollywood calling Harvey Weinstein “God” and raising up so many other rapists as paragons of virtue until they no longer can evade their accusers — all while threatening Justice Kavanaugh with a “whirlwind” for a crime fabricated out of thin air.
Hypocrisy is saying that all women must be believed, no matter what the facts may be, and then not believing a woman who states that Joe Biden raped her. Hypocrisy is about saying that climate policies must accord with “settled science” but then refusing to accord abortion policies with the settled scientific advances of the past half-century since Roe v. Wade, as new medical diagnostic devices conclusively have proven how soon after gestation a fetus becomes a complete life.
That is hypocrisy. Oh, for a kinder, gentler America when the Left was no worse than despicably hypocritical!
But we now are at the next stage, the stage when a Rep. Elise Stefanik exposes the pure evil of three DEI university presidents, and Saturday Night Live responds by going after … Stefanik. We have arrived at the phase where so many millions of illegals now are streaming through our southern border that blue state governors and mayors — even proud proprietors of sanctuary states and cities — cannot handle the throngs anymore and are themselves demanding that the Democrat White House close down the border flood.
And now the worst of all: A state Supreme Court actually has voted 4–3 to deny the 45th president, Donald Trump, the right to stand for reelection to be our 47th president, too.
This transcends hypocrisy. Trump claims the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. Many of us agree, although we approach the claim differently from how he does. He surely was cheated out of the win by the confluence of Facebook banning his access to the public, Twitter banning his access to the public, and Twitter blacking out the New York Post’s bombshell discovery of all there was to report about Hunter Biden’s laptop and “The Big Guy.” He was cheated by the mass move to voting by mail, a process in which at least 20 percent of those who did it admit to having cheated, and by so many other irregularities. For example, when Angelenos recently undertook to recall George Gascón, the Los Angeles Soros defense attorney formerly a San Francisco Soros defense attorney, their recall effort was killed when the left-wing Democrat-dominated election system invalidated just enough petition signatures to deny the recall vote from proceeding. Likewise, tens of thousands of mail-ballot signatures were disqualified during the 2020 presidential primaries. Expectations were that there would be a tsunami of rejected ballots in November 2020. Instead, mysteriously, the nationwide rate of rejection was lower in 2020 than in 2018 or 2016.
Of course the 2020 election was stolen from Trump. The darned shame only is that he and his advisers focused on the wrong fraud theories. I practiced complex civil litigation for a decade. When a plaintiff has been wronged, it is not enough for him to know assuredly that he has been wronged. Rather, his attorney must proffer the correct claims in the court papers. If he sues for workplace harassment when his case actually should sound in breach of contract, or vice versa, it can cost him the case. It is not enough to be correct that he has been wronged; rather, he also must proffer the right theory of the case.
Trump was wronged. And, for that very reason, his voters were wronged, and his opponents were denied a fair fight. He is entitled to shout it to the sky. He was wronged.
Whatever Trump has done since that November 2020 vote, it has not been “insurrection.” Jan. 6, 2021, was a mess. It was not an insurrection. This is so obvious. Yes, a few outliers came for insurrection. Trump had nothing to do with insurrection. He felt he was cheated. He urged people who had the power and authority to step in legally to do their part in finding the legal votes he believed were not counted and to disqualify illegal votes he believed were tallied. That was his right. Every candidate for any office at any level who ever has filed papers asking for a recount has proven as much. He urged duly chosen Georgia government officials to do what they could. He did not organize masses to take them hostage or beat up their families or launch an armed revolt.
Any suggestion otherwise is crazy. Of course, so much to do with Trump Derangement Syndrome is … deranged, i.e., crazy.
So, in the face of Trump claiming that Democrats stole the 2020 election from him, how do the geniuses on the Democrat left proceed to convince all Americans, of all stripes, that Trump was not really cheated out of the presidency?
Of all the lame-brained schemes imaginable, they do so by brazenly trying to cheat him out of the 2024 election by denying him the right to run.
Frankly, it is they who repose at the foundation of the insurrection. All it took was three Democrat Colorado governors to name seven Democrat Colorado state Supreme Court justices. And even then, three of those jurists held their noses while the bare majority of four voted to deny Trump — and his 75 million or more voters — a fair and free election in Colorado.
Sure, the United States Supreme Court will overthrow this one before they allow that kangaroo court to overthrow America, but it demonstrates how close we are to the end of our democracy as we know it. Just a few more corrupt courts made up of Democrat ideologues like Colorado’s kangaroos and the party is over. Not the Republican party. But the whole shebang. All over.
That is the nightmare we face as a nation if the Left ever gains enough sway.
