I have to give Donald Trump credit.
He has accomplished something very remarkable. Trump has been praised by both David Duke and Louis Farrakhan.
I think it is safe to say that Donald Trump is the first person, never mind presidential candidate, that has received the praise of both the former KKK Grand Wizard and the Nation of Islam leader.
After Duke said that voting against Trump would be an act of treachery a week ago, Farrakhan praised the Republican frontrunner during a sermon at a Chicago mosque over the weekend. He described Trump as:
(T)he only man…that stood in front of some members of the Jewish community and told them ‘I don’t want your money’… Any time a man can say to those who control the politics of America, ‘I don’t want your money,’ that means if I don’t take your money, you can’t control me. And they cannot afford to give up control of the presidents of the United States.
Like Duke, Farrakhan said he wasn’t endorsing Trump “but I like what I’m looking at.”
If both David Duke and Louis Farrakhan like what they see in Donald Trump then I shudder to think what Republicans who have voted for Trump like in him.
