Home » Hot off the Press » Cruz Wins Texas; Can He Win Arkansas & Oklahoma? UPDATE: Add Oklahoma to the Win Column
The polls have closed in Texas and Ted Cruz has won a double digit victory over Donald Trump.
This is Cruz’s second win in the GOP race having won Iowa exactly one month ago.
The question is whether Cruz can add anything else to the win column tonight. Cruz is competing with Trump in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. If Cruz can one or both of these states this will be a good night for Cruz.
In an interesting sidenote, while Marco Rubio has finished a distant third if he receives 20% of the vote he will get delegates. As of this writing, he has 19.5% of the vote.
UPDATE: It’s a win for Cruz in Oklahoma. What a strange night when the same state votes for both Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders.
