I’m blogging from the National Review Institute’s Conservative Summit, where Newt Gingrich just said “it would be historically wrong to spend all of 2007 raising money.” But the campaign cycle isn’t getting earlier in a vacuum; campaign finance laws make fundraising harder than it used to be.
