The AP reports:
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) – Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu, who faces a tough re-election, has had her name removed from a fundraiser announcement for presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Louisiana, like other southern states, has always been more willing to vote for Democrats statewide than in presidential elections, so it isn’t surprising to see Landrieu try to create some distance from Obama, although her campaign is denying it.
