Harry Reid trails potential Republican challenger Sue Lowden by a
6-point margin, 48 percent to 42 percent, according to a poll
that was published in today's
Las Vegas Review-Journal. Lowden, the chairwoman of the
Nevada Republican
Party, hasn't announced she's running, but the newspaper
reports that her supporters are using the polling results as part
of efforts convince her to throw her hat in the ring. In other
bad news for Reid, the poll found that only 39 percent of respondents had a favorable
view of Reid, and just 34 percent said they would vote for him to
be re-elected. Todd Vitale, who took the poll, said,
"I've never seen an
incumbent with numbers this bad who hadn't had some
scandal."
Don't get your hopes up. For some reason people like dirty Harry
always seem to pull a hat trick.
I knida thought his rail train from Disneyland to LV would have
done it, but that one seems to have quieted down. For now.

Reid is wrecked!
"Do not, as some ungracious pastors do,
Show me the steep and thorny way to heaven,
Whiles, like a puff'd and reckless libertine,
Himself the primrose path of dalliance treads.
And recks not his own rede. "

I suspect whether or not he gets reelected will depend on how
much taxpayer money he can funnel to organizations like ACORN.

For some reason? Media acquiescence and ACORN are two I can think
of off the top of my head.

How can there be 34% of those polled that would re-elect this
weasel to the Senate? Reid is a disgrace to this nation.
