Obama’s Real Enemies List
Ever expanding and the product of long-festering resentments and grievances.
Much has been made by the political left of Richard Nixon’s infamous enemies list. The reality is most of those named were people who did not receive presidential Christmas cards or White House reception invitations.
In contrast, Barack Obama has a real enemies list the peace prize-winner and his proxies have attacked during the past year, including the minority of news outlets that do not worship the media’s latest false idol.
In August 2008, the Obama campaign implored the Justice Department to levy criminal charges against those funding an American Issues Project commercial that proved embarrassing to Obama. Days later, the campaign sent an “Obama Action Wire” to thousands of liberal activists exhorting them to harass Chicago’s WGN radio because an on-air guest unearthed university documents that contradicted Obama’s claims about his long-time ties to domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.
In the autumn, state prosecutors and top sheriffs in the swing state of Missouri who were prominent Obama supporters complied with a chilling Obama campaign request. The officials threatened to prosecute media outlets that printed or broadcasted material they deemed to be inaccurate about the Democratic nominee.
In the final days before the election, three newspapers that endorsed John McCain were booted from the Obama campaign bus. The New York Post, Dallas Morning News and Washington Times were unceremoniously shown the door immediately after their papers’ endorsements appeared and were replaced with Jet and Ebony magazines.
In only his third full day as president Obama personally went on the offensive against a media personality. Obama warned Congressional Republicans against listening to Rush Limbaugh. The man who offered to sit down with Holocaust denier and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad drew a line in the sand regarding a born-in-the-heartland radio talk show host.
Earlier this year, Justice Department political appointees killed a six-month investigation by career DOJ lawyers into the most blatant voter intimidation case in 40 years. Last November, jack-booted, uniformed, baton-wielding thugs from the New Black Panther Party obstructed a Philadelphia polling location and behaved in an intimidating manner toward white voters, apparently for having the appearance of someone who might possibly vote for McCain.
Only weeks into his term, Obama established several embarrassing presidential firsts including targeting private individuals by names, assigning Shauna Daly a well-known “partisan dirt-digger” and non-lawyer to the White House Counsel’s Office to likely gain access to Bush Administration documents protected under attorney-client privilege, and moving the senior political advisor into the West Wing. Daly left the White House after a mere month and returned to the Democratic National Committee where using privileged attorney-client information in opposition research would set a new low in unethical practices.
At the cost of denigrating the Office of the President, Obama’s chief political strategist attacked a 21-year-old beauty pageant contestant whose public views were out of step with those of Administration allies. Fifty-four year-old David Axelrod appeared on National Public Radio last May and insisted Carrie Prejean was one of three finalists for the Obama family dog. An NPR studio audience showered Axelrod with cheers. Weeks before, Prejean was victimized by a militant homosexual judge who was angered she did not enthusiastically endorse gay marriage during the Miss USA competition.
Earlier in the spring, the Department of Homeland Security circulated a document warning law enforcement of an alleged threat posed by “domestic rightwing terrorists.” Included in the group of potential terrorists were individuals who are pro-life, support the Second Amendment and oppose the flood of illegal aliens. The DHS pamphlet also singled out military veterans as possible domestic terrorists in-waiting.
White House targets include sectors of an entire industry. A common thread among the list of 789 Chrysler dealerships ordered closed by the White House is that the owners donated to GOP candidates, Republican-leaning causes or donated to Hillary Clinton or John Edwards during the Democratic presidential primaries.
Apparently successful franchises such as Chrysler’s highest-rated 5-star dealerships were ordered closed in favor of less successful car lots and the consistent discriminator was which political party the owners supported. Reportedly, the closure list was drawn up by the office of the then-car czar, Steven Rattner. It is no surprise that Rattner’s wife is Maureen White, the former Democratic National Committee Finance Chair.
Also targeted during the auto industry purge were financial institutions that did not willingly accept Obama’s political demands in Chrysler’s restructuring. One fund manager reported being on the receiving end of a profanity-laced tirade by Rattner that included threats to use the Internal Revenue Service and the Securities and Exchange Commission in gangster-like enforcement roles.
At mid-year, the White House ordered the firing of Gerald Walpin as Inspector General of the Corporation for National and Community Service after Walpin discovered a key Obama supporter misused federal grant money. Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson squandered $850,000 in grant funds to inflate staff salaries and pay for personal services instead of the intended purpose of tutoring impoverished schoolchildren. Walpin’s firing was in direct violation of a federal statute barring the removal of an IG without first filing a 30-day notice with Congress.
When the Tea Party movement was at its height, the White House publicized an email address, encouraging supporters to turn-in neighbors who opposed the Obama Administration’s socialized medicine proposals. In a similar vein, the White House began collecting and archiving comments from social-networking sites without disclosing these practices to the public.

Your article does a good job putting the trail together. The ones we know about. Your cited occurrances are probably the tip of the iceberg.
All these events in about one year's time. The Shauna Daly episode really burned me when I read about it. Anything Axlerod or sloe-eyed Rahm means sewage greased the joints.
Now whiny Obama wants to bail out the newspapers. I thought the whole point of the civil rights movement was to get the people on the bus, not kick them off.

Last evening I watched the TV documentary "Valkyrie" about the events surrounding Hitler's gaining iron rule over 1930's Germany. And though the documentary was made several years ago, some of the tactics of the Nazis and their willing accomplices, bore a chilling resemblance to an apparent strategy of the current administration. We must resist, resist, resist, and vote massive change in congressional control come November, 2010.

To serve and Protect the Constitution. He' done a fine job at trying to shut up the dissent. He needs to be reminded that some of us out here do not scare easily. It's reallt too bad for him that some of us out here do not have short memories. I hope to see a day when this type of Chicago politics changes back to a Representative Republic. In the meantime, We the People will have to stay strong to our oppition to this type of tactics we see coming out of the District of Corruption and remember, elections have consequences.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it “not” ending well, because the next elections are coming up fast, in 2010 & 2012, if the Administration likes it or not. And when the elections do come, the American people will have the choice, not the Government. And after these last few years of our Government spinning completely out of control, I pray, that we choose more wisely this time, and get back on track.
The Oath of (Re)Enlistment in the Army goes: “I (your name goes here), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the (1)Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and “domestic”; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the (2)President of the United States and the orders of the (3)Officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
Did you notice that it says to support and defend the Constitution of the United States first (1), and then it says, obey the orders of the President of the United States (2), followed by the Officers (3)appointed over me? That’s because, the Constitution comes first, then the President, and then the Officers appointed over the Soldier. The Constitution is the foundation of our Government, and the President, is just the man who holds the office at that particular time. You see, Presidents come and go (hell, we’re up to #44 already), but the Constitution is the bedrock of our Nation, and no one man will usurp it. That’s why, Soldier’s in the Military swear to support and defend our Constitution, and then (next) they swear to obey the President of the United States, and not the other way around. So like the situation in Honduras right now, if our President where to breach our Constitution (God forbid!!) and attempt an illegal power grab in defiance of it, he could never count on the allegiance of the United States Military to prop up an illicit regime, because it would break the Military’s Oath.
That’s not to say, that there won’t be a lot of damage done, between now and the upcoming elections. But the end of our Great Republic (IMHO), is still a long way off, as long as I have a say in it (and I do have a say in our future)!! And so do you!! And that’s why everybody has to get involved in the next round of elections, if you haven’t already. So we can determine the direction that this Great Nation is going to follow(is the sun rising, or is the sun setting?)!!
Actually Speedbump; your screen name says it all to me about our current situation(s), and what’s been happening, for these last few years, it’s all just a speed-bump in American history, that’s all it is, just a tiny little speed-bump. Our best days as a Nation are still ahead of us, not behind us. Call me an optimist if you will, but I truly believe that!!

No man (or woman) can usurp the constitution is a great principle, but alas that principle hasn't been practiced for over 100 years, at least not consistently. Virtually all of the innumerable violations of this principle, from the "mild" to the grotesque, remain in force.
9 men (or sometimes 8 men/1 lady or now 7 men 2 ladies) REGULARLY have usurped the constitution - indeed, arrogating to themselves quite explicitly the role of re-creating the constitution in their image.
Not to mention an entire political party (currently in power) is dedicated to the notion of the "living" constitution...that is, the constitution means whatever they say it means (regardless of the actual words and clear meaning thereof).
And this same party controls the permanent gov't bureaucracy & centers of cultural power, and so continuously degrades constitutionalism even when not holding the presidency or legislative majorities.
With the Obamination following so closely on the heels of the supposed "permanent Republican majority"...just as the equally-laughable-and-corrupt Clinton followed (for TWO TERMS!!) right on the heels of the Reagan Revolution...and with Dems in charge although self-identified "conservatives" outnumber self-ID'd libs 2-to-1 (and by some margin in nearly all of the 50 states)...watching the long-term anti-constitutional trend...well, I am not nearly as sanguine about the future of the Republic as the optimistic LLL!

Unusurped Constitution?
I don’t know why? But every time somebody writes back to me, they always have to use a word that I don’t know (or sometimes, multiple words I don't know!!), whose definition I have to look up in my handy, dandy, trusty, and only slightly rusty dictionary. Sanguine: Optimistic, hopeful, confident (thanks UC?-it’s a good word).
But what else are you to do about our current situation, just give up? Nah!!, I’ve come too far to give up now, so not until my dying breath will I ever quit. So excuse me, but I friggin’ love my Country, because I’ve seen what real misery looks like (I see it every morning I wake up), and I will never allow that/this to happen to America.
Now most of the “Great” people that I work with think that I’m a glass half empty type (Negative), but in actuality, I’m really a glass half full type (Optimist), as you pointed out. I just don’t want them to know that I’m positive, because I’ve got a very pissed off reputation to uphold (that I worked very hard to get too). But we (America) went to the moon, (and our flags are still flying up there) we won WW-II, we won the Cold War, and did so many other great things in our history, therefore I believe, we can do anything!!
You see? Glass half full!! So we’ve just got to get our act together now, join together as a team, and defeat our current enemies, both foreign and unfortunately domestic. That’s got to be easier than thinking that, you can land a man on the moon, and return him safely to Earth!! That’s tough, but “We” did that too.
It’s never too late to fight, or to win!!

Besides the order of priority in the Oath of Enlistment (which is the same for all services), all the LOAC briefings explicitly state that illegal orders are not to be followed as "I was just following orders" is not a defense to war crimes or other illegal acts. In fact, an order to oppress, harass, or threaten US citizens would be illegal in any context. The Missouri law enforcement officials that stopped citizens because they were sporting a bumper sticker that put Obama in a bad light were very likely violating their oath of office (can't say with certainty, since the exact wording is unknown to me), as it seems likely that the oath they took would include some verbiage regarding fair and evenhanded enforcement of the laws of the State of Missouri.
I'm guessing that's why Obama called for a "civilian national security force" in one of his speeches. It would be the functional and political equivalent of the SD and would do things for him that the regular military wouldn't do under any circumstance.

Re: Oprah. I have recently read her numbers are tanking. At the very least they are not what they used to be. I wonder if she or her producers get it yet? She helped to inflict this abberational president on the unsuspecting public and made an absolute fool of herself on election night. I have friends who used to watch her and thought she was something quite different. I never have. My impression of Oprah was she was always concealing a preference for all things black but knew on which side her bread was buttered and knew how to play the game to attract a large white audience to BOOST HER RATINGS and HER FORTUNE. Schools for girls in AFRICA? Why not AMERICA? Surely young girls in America who are black live in a culture which demeans and denigrates their womanhood and they could surly use some early training to resist the constant assault FROM THEIR OWN MEN and help and training towards becoming dignified and self supporting? At least Oprah would be putting her money to the benefit of Americans even if the fact of their being a different race proved her preference. That she would prefer someone of her own race is not a problem. We should all have the same luxury to be human. Her endorsement of Obama after slobbering all over Hillary was racial chauvanism and it's about time this cat is let out of the bag.

Oprah herself says in interviews about this project that girls in Chicago aren't interested in getting an education--they're only interested in acquiring material items such as iPods and sneakers (and they'll complain if the ones you give them aren't expensive enough or the 'correct' brand).

The GOP is too compromised. Like, just for starters, if enough Latino activists say they'll get their people to vote Dem, then the GOP all of a sudden backs amnesty programs. That is not a fairy tale, it HAS happened.

They ALL have enemies lists. While I don't think the Obama enemies list strategy will work, why would anyone want to grant an interview with someone who hates you and lies? And yes, MSNBC corrupts the truth as well. Bush/Cheney would not grant interviews with their detractors, and neither would any other President.
You guys lack so much objectivity it is quite funny. By the way, the answer to this is to have term limits so we don't have professional politicians and we can actually vote for people who will care about this country and not their own futures.

So you say, Bob, but it's VERY interesting that this "list," and any FBI assistance, never appeared in the Liberal press (even though lots of "classified" material appeared in the press over Bush's two terms), never appeared in any of the several Congressional hearings that the Bush administrations faced, never appeared, well ANY PLACE outside of a few left-wing blogs.
Where's your citations? Where's your proof? Where's your examples of Bush doing the things Obama is doing right now, especially using his Presidency to speak against private citizens and tell the opposition to stop listening to someone or insinuating that any one the various liberal news stations (like MSNBC) is not legitimate? You don't have any because none exists.

I agree the political land scape we have now is corrupt. To think the republicans will do any better than they did the last 8 years is ludicrous. Obama is corrupting the system to help the people who support him and the repubs did the same thing. The only decision the electorate has to make is which group do you want to make rich and which one will do the least amount of harm to the rest of us.

I hope the elections are successful in throwing the Progressives (Communists) out of power because if it doesn't, the Oath Keepers may have to and that won't be pretty.
All patriots please read, "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross. It details a strategy to retake our Republic without need for firefights in the streets. Contemplate your access and ability to contribute to the cause should it become necessary.

“If you want to know who’s sleeping with whom, who drinks too much or has a fondness for nose candy, this is the place to find it,” says another White House aide. “Karl (Rove) operates under the rule that if you fuck with us, we’ll fuck you over.”

Also with all the classified information leaked from the Bush Administraiton why was this supposed list not among them?
We also heard how Bush was passing talking points to FOX News but were never offered any proof that anything like this was going on. However we do know that Rahm calls George Stefanopolous every morning and that a J-List does exist for left-wing news orgs and reporters to coordinate attacks against their conservative opponents.
Like everything else with the left they make accusations against their opponents for 2 reasons- 1-to demonize their opponents and 2-to water down the anger when their own illegal actions are brought to light by claiming (without proof)"they dit it too".

Ben, I said that ALL politicians collect this data. It is now very easy to collect and cheap to store. I also pointed out that this publisher railed against BOTH Bush AND Obama.
By the way, Rwinks, AmSpec is a "political blog" as is Fox and MSNBC. Do you believe what you read here? I guess not. And it is easy to collect damaging personal information on 10,000 people. A decade ago I used a newscrawler to get information on competitive companies. My software automatically filed and cross tabbed this data without any human intervention. Given the availability of FBI data (which I did see when I was in the Army decades ago), and the speed of the internet, I could write a program to dig up information in a week and 10,000 people would be a drop in the bucket. Even today, under the NSA programs, they go through billions of conversations a day. 10,000 is quite easy.
Hey, you guys believed there were 2 million teabaggers in D.C. on 9/12 when the official fire department estimates were 60-70,000. This was obtained from a blog and you believed it because it was re-reported on Fox... right?

I once attended a dinner party wherein the other guests were all colleagues teaching in high school. The dinner conversation focused almost exclusively on gripes these folks had against the school administration.
I suggested in a somewhat annoyed manner that surely they had sufficient intellectual facilities to do more than just gripe.
There is a legitimate Constitutional question yet unanswered. Barak Obama has REFUSED to produce legal evidence that he is eligible to occupy the Office of the President of the United States of America.
You may obtain information reference several court cases moving forward, anyone of which, will force Mr. Obama to produce his evidence of eligibility.

I'm thinking there is one huge difference between Obama's list and those of Jorge Bush or Nixon, as examples. Obama is going to drive the stake into America and make it go socialist-marxist.
