Many Americans, unlike Europeans, have had more than enough of the current avant-garde twisting of intellectualism that’s produced pregnant men, erased borders, and a 101 genders. They’ve turned their backs on an entire panoply of collective cultural suicide peddled by a fake progressivism having morphed into a veritable death cult. The U.S., for example, has officially gone back to two genders once again, is now insisting one must actually stop and present a valid visa for entry to the country, and the decades-long litany of end-days climate doomsaying is now finally and after almost half a century of embarrassingly obvious faceplants, falling on deaf ears.
However, if Europe is ever to wake up, the time to demand a return to normalcy is now.
Yet for the American far-Left, even witnessing Portugal and Spain just weeks ago cast into nationwide blackouts only days after pretending to celebrate their “net zero” stride, an ingrained eco-catastrophism still impels the indoctrinated in the U.S. to wish fervently to march toward an identical and dangerous place, oblivious that their agenda resulted in the power going out all over the Iberian Peninsula.
Europe’s climate hysteria too will cling doggedly to the disaster-is-nigh mantra, since after half a century of loudly shrieking that the end-days were upon us they’ll never own up to being responsible for perpetuating a multi-generational doomsday sideshow, exaggerated far beyond whatever kernel of cause there may be for prudent and measured concern.
What is more, the powers that be throughout the Continent are utterly infatuated with a truly noxious mindset that unquestioningly predicts a future of inevitable ruin and chaos. So the U.S. doubtlessly needs stand without her allies in this matter, continuing to possess the temerity to say in plain English that the Orwellian groupthink focusing on ever-upcoming yet never actually arriving disaster is at an end.
However, if Europe is ever to wake up, the time to demand a return to normalcy is now. Britain’s bizarre flirtation with its own demise, for example, is killing its citizenry by the thousands. Studies carried out by the National Energy Action in the UK and E3G in Brussels found that every year 3,000 aged Britons suffer early deaths owing to the country’s “cold domicile” problem, with impoverished elderly attempting to pinch pennies trying to keep up with outrageous heating bills — and dying in the process.
Even with Britain’s hardly balmy winter weather, very few have uttered a peep as a shameful portion of the country’s grandparents and great-grandparents expire without the dignity of even having a warm place to die. To the contrary, when the UK’s last fracking operation was shut down a few years ago near Blackpool, cutting off desperately needed natural gas, Britons didn’t bemoan the fate of their elders, but instead celebrated. Other Northern European nations, with even worse weather than the UK and with their own aged populations on shoestring budgets, are just as surely at risk.
Future historians almost certainly will struggle trying to make sense of how a sophisticated Western culture, having weathered every daunting challenge imaginable for millennia, could be taken in and undone by one of the oldest canards in any chronicle anywhere: the absurd end-of-the-world hokum. Indeed, they’ve managed to convince billions of carbon-based entities that carbon is “toxic.” And that’s quite an accomplishment, equal to somehow causing fish to abhor water.
