Just yesterday, the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., was visited by a very special group of visitors — actual World War II veterans. Courtesy of the Emerald Coast Honor Flight Network, 103 veterans from Pensacola, Florida, were flown to D.C. to visit Arlington National Cemetery and the World War II Memorial. Aboard their flight was the U.S. Representative from their district and Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Jeff Miller. Congressman Miller spent the day with the veterans. For many, this was their first visit to their Memorial. Click here to view more photos.
