Rick Perry’s entry into the presidential race has only slightly dented Mitt Romney’s commanding lead in New Hampshire. According to a Magellan poll, Romney leads Perry 36 percent to 18 percent. Ron Paul is in third place with 14 percent and Michele Bachmann is the only other candidate in double digits with 10 percent.
The survey also found that 86 percent of Granite State Republican primary voters followed the Ames straw poll, but 84 percent said it would have no impact on their decision-making process.
