Our friend Sean Hannity has announced he is doing a series of four holiday season concerts saluting America’s fighting men and women.
The proceeds from the concert will go to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund. The shows will feature singer Michael W. Smith, the indefatigable Oliver North and Five for Fighting’s John Ondrasik.
The concerts are billed as an “Intimate Celebration of Music, Holiday Cheer and Tributes to American Heroes.”
You know what’s nice here?
Here are a collection of people with busy lives and schedules taking serious time out of those lives to lend a hand at what can be a particularly difficult season for those who have lost a parent to the service of this country or been seriously wounded.
Here is a link to the site for the scholarship fund, which is dedicated to helping the kids of those who have lost life or limb in the war on terror.
I’ve been to a Hannity concert for this cause and they are four star affairs. Lots of energy, lots of people — lots of military families — and one is in for a great evening that will surely boost the spirits as well as the scholarship fund.
Here’s the schedule:
November 27: New York City, NY — Hammerstein Ballroom
December 2: Pittsburgh, PA — Byham Theater
December 3: Washington, DC — Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill
December 18: Atlanta, GA — Cobb Energy Centre
If you’re in the area and possessed of the Christmas spirit along with some good old fashioned patriotic desire to lend a hand to some great kids — you’re in for a great night.
The link to ticket information is here.
A great cause with great people at just the right time.
