Rick Santorum just made a classy exit from the presidential race. There will be plenty of time for post mortems later about what he did well and what he didn’t, how he came from near-nowhere to become a real contender and how he sometimes made missteps.There also will be time to talk about whether he could have somehow found a way, still, to remain competitive in this race. For now, let’s say this: This man did more with less than anybody since Jimmy Carter in 1976, and more with less than any Republican in memory. And he did so almost entirely with a positive message in favor of freedom, faith, and life. 

His is a fighting spirit that this country needs. His is a voice that must continue to be heard.
