You may remember Dale Peterson, the GOP candidate for Alabama agriculture commissioner who gained YouTube fame last summer with his tough-talking campaign ad. Peterson lost a tough 2010 primary contest, but continues to be a favorite of grassroots conservatives. His exhibition-hall booth at the Conservative Political Action Conference has proven a popular destination and he’s urging supporters to write in his name on the CPAC presidential straw poll.
