Megan McArdle catches the liberal Center on Budget and Policy Priorities blaming President Bush for laws Obama signed.
As McArdle notes, it’s a bit much to label the projected debt represented by the orange segment “Bush-Era Tax Cuts” when Obama signed them into law in December, and presumably will let them lapse at the end of 2012.
At what point does Obama become responsible? He could have done something about the lower tax rates and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq anytime since his elections. They are his policies.
