Several exit polls have been released following today’s vote in Israel.
Two of the polls have Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud and the Zionist Camp coalition led by Labor Party leader Isaac Herzog each winning 27 seats apiece while a third poll has Likud ahead by one seat (28 to 27).
It would appear that Netanyahu had regained some ground in the final days of the campaign after polls showed the Zionist Camp surging ahead.
But it will be days, perhaps week before we know who will lead Israel’s new government.
