As Stacy notes in his column today, Andrew Sullivan is really mad at Obama over Libya. Now that Sully is denouncing the candidate he championed as “The Imperial President,” let me bring up a parenthetical aside in a post about his animosity for Hilllary Clinton, which I wrote on November 10, 2007:
If Obama were to win, I’d put money on Andrew following his mercurial Bush-era pattern exactly: descending into overwrought hagiography in the early years and then, at some point, turning on a dime.
I claim no special insight; this was about as difficult as predicting the sunrise. Still, I thought I’d mention it.
