Donald Trump is expected to hold a press conference any moment in Palm Beach, Florida in which Florida Governor Rick Scott is expected to endorse him.
No doubt this is intended to be dagger to Marco Rubio in the same way Jeff Sessions’ endorsement of Trump was to Ted Cruz. But Scott is a far more controversial figure than Sessions. His endorsement of Trump could have the effect of galvanizing Republicans towards Rubio.
Still, Florida is a must win for Rubio where it is icing on the cake for Trump.
UPDATE: Rick Scott was not at the press conference. Trump indicated he was not aware of Scott’s endorsement, but would welcome it.
