Romney spokesman Kevin Madden was spinning on Fox that Romney went from “0%” and ran “against the incumbent.” Thankfully the interview was cut short by McCain’s acceptance speech. Buoyed by the crowd he stopped short of gloating and made his pitch for fixing Washington and fighting against our common foe. The Washington Insider tag Romney tried to pin on him seems as credible as the claim the governor of the neighboring state started at “0%.”
