Phil, I missed your New Coke post while responding to James. Yes, marketing data and polling are sometimes wrong but I raised it in the context of trying to discern what voters think. Yes, public polling is one way but what candidates do based on their own polling is another way. I think there is significant data which Romney is using to support his Change message.
