I have only two people I am in still in touch with from Junior High. One is Neely Holmead Oplinger, the smartest of the smart, the most beautiful of the beautiful, best diagrammer of sentences there ever was. On to cheerleader at Montgomery Blair and now spends her life as mother, wife, and reader of books to the blind. If there is such a thing as a perfect woman besides my wife, it would be Neely.

The other person I am in touch with is N., a super famous immigration expert. Just a star, now retired and turned to photography and auto collecting. He sent me a letter last night, and I enclose the gist of it. 

Mr. Obama spends billions, and far more important, sends our young men to faraway Muslim lands to fight terrorists and supposedly protect the homeland from Muslim terrorism, that is, to keep them far away. Some of our men die. At the same time, he opens the floodgates to America for thousands, maybe tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people from countries and a culture that hate us and want to kill us. While our soldiers kill a few of the terrorists over there, Mr. Obama waves his wand and brings in infinitely more possible terrorists to our country. And don’t let him fool you. There is NO meaningful vetting or screening of these people. They just say abra-cadabra and they are in and we don’t know a thing about them besides that they come from a culture that hates us. There is no data on them. Now we learn ISIS can make official Syrian passports for them. We now learn that the Department of State is unaware even if the terrorists post their terrorist views on social media (or anti-social media) as the late Tashfeen did. So, essentially we know only that they come from places where terrorism is a religion.

And yet we let them in, give them welfare, encourage them to bring their families. And Mr. Obama wants to do more of it.
