In one of the most impressive insults (not least for its brevity) I’ve heard from a politician in a long time, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) skewered New Jersey governor Chris Christie in Paul’s Fox News Sunday appearance two days ago.
When asked by moderator John Roberts to respond to the senator’s father, former Congressman Ron Paul’s (R-TX) assertion that Christie “offers nothing,” Rand Paul threw out this gem:
“What I would say is that there’s room for people who believe in bigger government in our party.”
