2012 GOP Contenders and the Debt Deal

So far Jon Huntsman is the only Republican presidential candidate to say unambiguously nice things about the pending bipartisan agreement on the debt ceiling. Newt Gingrich stopped short of opposing it outright, but said only negative things and argued it would not lift the country out of the “Obama depression.” Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty joined Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann in opposing it. Conservative dream non-candidates Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio split, with Ryan fer it and Rubi again’ it.
