Romney was very solid and effective on defending Bush tax cuts. McCain was solid too, defending his spending cuts. In demeanor both were calm and focused. No blood drawn there. Huckabee makes the points that “fees” and taxes (referring to Romney) seem the same to the small business owner and defends his own record. He seems more controlled and in command than previous debates.
UPDATE: Romney goes after Huckabee, saying he raised taxes. Romney is getting annoyed with Huckabee evasion. I’m not sure either looked that presidential on that one. Rudy gives the facts on his tax cuts. (Another campaign shoots an email quoting Club for Growth and showing Romney in fact did oppose Bush tax cuts.)
