Hillary: Queen of Corruption
by

More muck from the swamp of rigged corruption.

The headline in the Wall Street Journal says it all:

Clinton Ally Aided Campaign of FBI Official’s Wife

Group linked to Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe donated nearly half a million dollars to 2015 state Senate candidate

The story says in part this, bold print for emphasis supplied:

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.

Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.

The Virginia Democratic Party, over which Mr. McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe’s control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort.

Mr. McAuliffe and other state party leaders recruited Dr. McCabe to run, according to party officials. She lost the election to incumbent Republican Dick Black.

Think of this. One of the most visible Clinton allies in all of Clinton World goes out of his way to recruit the wife of an FBI official who “helped oversee” the FBI investigation into Hillary’s e-mails. And it mysteriously never occurs to the FBI deputy director that he must recuse himself entirely from the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton.

Then there is the business uncovered by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. With Clinton allies out there on tape boasting — say again, boasting — that they are the 21st century version of Nixon’s Watergate burglars. Reports Breitbart (bold print supplied):

In one hidden camera video, filmed at Creamer’s Washington, D.C. office, Creamer explains that Hillary Clinton is aware of “all” of his activities, directly or indirectly, and that Democracy Partners has a daily conference call with the Clinton campaign, as well as frequent calls with the White House.

Creamer’s meetings at the White House include two meetings with President Obama in March 2011 and June 2013 where the total number of people is listed as just two. Presumably, just Creamer and Obama.

Another character in the investigative videos is Scott Foval who was removed from his job at Americans United for Change as a result of the Project Veritas investigation. In the second O’Keefe video, Foval paints a dark picture of Creamer saying, “Bob Creamer is diabolical and I love him for it.” While discussing the potential voter fraud plot, Foval credits Creamer for “coming up with most of these ideas,” and describes Democracy Partners as a “dark hat.”

In a statement on their Facebook page Democracy Partners claims it is the victim of a “well-funded, systematic spy operation that is the modern day equivalent of the Watergate burglars.

Can you imagine if some GOP operative had been doing this? And then reporting in to the White House? Actually, yes. Several were doing things like this in 1972 and it cost Richard Nixon the presidency.

The other night on CNN I mentioned an ad from a group called America Is Worth It that came to my attention. The ad, seen here, never once mentions Donald Trump. It zeroes in on Hillary Clinton as the “Queen of Corruption” and refocuses the election as not between Clinton and Trump but rather between the “Liberal Big Media Bosses” and the American people.

Indeed, this is exactly the way so many Americans — notably those at Trump rallies who boo the media covering the event — see the election. With the Ruling Class elites on one side and the American people on the other.

One scandal after another has engulfed the FBI, the Justice Department, the State Department, the IRS and on and on — and hovering over all of this is Hillary Clinton and her likeminded fellow elites. Whether the issue is sex (one standard for the Clintons, the late Ted Kennedy, and other liberal elites), the Second Amendment (regulations for you, bodyguards with guns for them), or Hillary’s emails and more, always, always, always there are two standards — one for them, another, very different standard for their fellow Americans.

Note this from the Wall Street Journal on the subject of the Hillary emails and the FBI, again with bold print supplied:

Director Comey, the self-styled Boy Scout, somehow didn’t think any of this would look suspicious? Add this to the list of special treatment for Mrs. Clinton: no grand jury, grants of immunity to her aides, no interview until the last minute, a special exonerating public declaration, and a pre-Labor Day dump of damaging FBI notes.

The contrast couldn’t be greater with the FBI and Justice Department determination to convict retired Gen. James Cartwright  — former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — of a felony for lying to the FBI. The general told a federal court last week he regretted he didn’t tell the bureau the truth about conversations he’d had with reporters about a secret cyberattack disrupting Iran’s nuclear program. He could serve up five years in prison.

“People who gain access to classified information after promising not to disclose it must be held accountable when they willfully violate that promise,” said U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein in a press release.

“We conducted a thorough and independent investigation included [sic] collecting tens of thousands of documents through subpoenas, search warrants and document requests, and interviewing scores of current and former government employees. The evidence showed that General Cartwright disclosed classified information without authorization to two reporters and lied to federal investigators. As a result, he stands convicted of a federal felony offense and faces a potential prison sentence.”

This is comical coming from the same folks who gave away immunity deals like candy in their probe of Mrs. Clinton. Gen. Cartwright wasn’t even the original source of the Iran leaks. The general says he confirmed details the reporters already had in an effort to prevent them from publishing information that could harm America’s national security.

Though Mrs. Clinton didn’t leak to reporters, her personal server exposed national secrets to potential hackers, and she gave a number of people (including some of her attorneys) without proper clearances access to that information. When Gen. Cartwright became the subject of an investigation, he was stripped of his security clearance — which never happened to Mrs. Clinton.

Maybe the general should have run for the Democratic nomination.

Got that? A General, a former vice chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is being targeted by the FBI and the Justice Department for prosecution — for doing a version of exactly what Hillary Clinton has done — mishandling classified information. This isn’t just disgusting. This is corruption on a grand scale.

Make no mistake. What is in motion here is a presidential election that could make the next president of the United States a woman who is, as that America Is Worth It ad makes clear, the Queen of Corruption.

Win, lose or draw two weeks from now, no matter who wins, the fight over all of this has only just begun.
