Boehner knows the Senate won’t act because Barack Obama has demonstrated (by insisting on further tax hikes) that Democrats are not looking to replace the sequester, just to have a political issue.
Particularly knowing that Harry Reid won’t get off his ass, it’s good to hear Boehner using language which might actually cause the “mainstream” media to pay attention, and thus help remind more Americans that the real obstructionists are the Democrats.
In the meantime, President Obama continues to spend millions of taxpayer dollars to travel around the country to pose with firemen, teachers, and others whose income does not come in any substantial way from the federal government, trying to scare Americans into thinking that Republicans want the world to come to an end.
