I'm not terribly impressed with the GOP's handling of Obama's first 100 days, but it's too soon to render a final verdict.

What do they call this in sports? A "building year"?

At least they traded a high mileage and unreliable Arlen Specter in for a 2010 Toomey.

They could work on the PR, but I'm pretty proud of them for standing-up against Obama's spending spree. Let him own it, the $787B "stimulus" is a political lemon... and Obama owns it.

And when all this pork and welfare fail to stimulate anything but inflation and the deficit, the Democrats face a bloodbath in 2010.
