We Shouldn’t Laud Nor Trust Samantha Power
by

A short time ago, Ross praised UN Ambassador Samantha Power’s speech to AIPAC.

He began with the caveat, “Frankly, I don’t trust anyone who works for Barack Obama because I don’t trust Obama himself.”

Ross should have stopped right then and there.

First of all, I don’t buy it for a minute when she claims the Obama Administration is combating anti-Semitism around the world and has Israel’s back at the UN every day. For the past six years, the Obama Administration has given Israel the back of its hand.

Let us never, never forget that this is the same Samantha Power who in 2002 called upon the U.S. to invade Israel to impose peace with the Palestinians.

As I just pointed out with John Kerry, the Obama Administration is in damage control mode with regard to Netanyahu’s speech and is trying to make nice with Israel.

A couple of speeches isn’t going to make up for the damage the Obama Administration has done to Israel.

If the Obama Administration is serious about making amends with Israel then it would cease these foolish negotiations with Iran at once. That’s not going to happen. For the Obama Administration, a nuclear agreement with Iran is the foreign policy equivalent of Obamacare.

As I wrote in my piece this morning on the cowardice of Democrats who won’t attend Netanyahu’s speech, when Israel has friends like the Obama Administration who needs enemies? Unfortunately, Israel has an abundance of enemies and she should count the White House as being among them until January 2017 and perhaps beyond.
