China announced last week that it will end all international adoptions, thus bringing to a close what was once the largest inter-country adoption program in history. Many of those adoptions were the result of the Chinese government’s attempt to manipulate its society and economy via its one-child policy.

On today’s episode of The Spectator P.M. Podcast, hosts Ellie Gardey Holmes and Aubrey Gulick discuss the devastating cultural and economic impact China’s one-child policy has had. They also talk about the United States’ looming population crisis and the selfish mindset that has driven young men and women to put off or simply choose not to have children. (WATCH: IVF Parents Shop for Eggs From Girls at Ivy League Schools)
