Late last week, a judge in New York ruled that former President Donald Trump would have to shell over $350 million to appeal a ruling on real estate fraud. The details of the case may be difficult to sort out, but Americans don’t seem to have a problem determining exactly what is going on in New York: A bunch of authoritarian liberals are trying to silence the opposition.
