The Senate just voted on whether to proceed with four budgets: the House 2012 budget, the Toomey budget, the Paul budget, and President Obama’s 2012 proposal. All were voted down. Obama’s budget, however, was unanimously defeated, 0-97. Democrats argued that his official budget has been superseded by the speech he gave at George Washington University following the unveiling of the GOP House budget.
