Paul Ryan gave a masterful speech on Friday to a tough crowd at an AARP gathering in New Orleans.
The left-wing media, from Huffington Post to ABC News to the Washington Post, focuses on the fact that Ryan was repeatedly booed during his remarks, though more at the beginning than at the end.
But rather than listen to the two minutes selected by those who would say that grass was blue if Ryan said it was green, I encourage you to listen to Ryan yourself.
It would take a remarkably closed-minded person, even for a Democrat, to hear Paul Ryan and not question what you thought you knew about Obamacare (and thus about President Obama himself.)

Ryan did a great job in front of the largely hostile audience, and it wouldn’t surprised me if he changed a few minds.
Whatever happens with this election, and I hope it ends with the Ryan family moving into the Vice President’s Residence near the Naval Observatory, Paul Ryan has become a much more effective advocate for his values and his policy prescriptions, most of which I share.
For the record, AARP is basically an insurance company. They stand to make tens of millions of dollars from future cuts to Medicare. Thus they will institutionally support Obamacare not despite the damage it does to seniors but because of it. They are parasites of the worst sort, and I encourage you to share this story with any Obama-leaning or undecided AARP members you know.
